Volunteers are an integral part of any organization.  Most of our Committee Chairs are filled.  Even so, we can always use your help serving on any one of these committees.  Please consider volunteering your time.  It's rewarding to the school, it's rewarding to the children, and it's very self rewarding when you see the difference you are making in the lives of so many children.

COMMITTEES

Beautification/Environment – Responsible for promoting environmental issues. Chair - Joy Towslee

Bingo -Responsible for coordinating Family Bingo nights. Chair – Anne Major

Box Tops – Responsible for advertising, collecting and redeeming Box Tops.  Chair – Erica Galasso

Cultural Arts – Responsible for organizing art programs.  Chair – Otellia Steward

Dalmatian Derby – Responsible for coordinating the main PTA fundraiser.  Chair – Jen Jordan

Donations Committee – Responsible for soliciting donations to be used as prizes for Family Bingo Nights, etc. Chair – Michelle Young

Health & Human Services – Responsible for promoting wellness. Chair – Mindy Lyons

Hospitality – Responsibilities include coordinating two teacher luncheons during the school year and any other activities that would require snack or drink items.  Chair – Laurence Pierre

Legislative – Responsible for communicating legislative issues to the PTA.  Chair – Steven Brown

Membership  – Responsibilities include promoting our PTA, keeping an active membership roster, distributing membership cards and coordinating a membership drive.  Chair – Lynda Isaacs

Newsletter – Responsible for producing the PTA newsletter.  Chair - Laura Brown

Reflections – Responsibilities include advertising the state PTA reflections program, distributing guidelines to interested students, collecting entries and judging.  Chair – Dona Archer

Scrapbooking – Responsible for completing a school scrapbook.  Chair – Traci Phipps

Spirit Nights – Responsibilities include coordinating school spirit nights, distributing flyers and collecting money from participating vendors.  Chair – WE NEED YOU ~ PLEASE VOLUNTEER FOR THIS COMMITTEE.

Spirit Wear – Responsibilities include designing, ordering and selling spirit wear.  Chair – Ashley Galya

Student Directory – Responsibilities include gathering approved family contact information, collecting ad donations and distributing the completed Student Directory.  Chair – Jen Jordan 

Volunteer/Room Parent Coordinator – Responsible for coordinating volunteers for PTA and school functions and for coordinating the duties of room parents.  Chair – Jennifer Ryan

Website – Responsible for maintaining PTA website.  Chair – Jen Jordan

Yearbook – Responsibilities include advertising, distributing order forms, collecting orders, taking pictures, developing the yearbook and distributing completed yearbooks.  Chair – Alison Horne
